NEET-UG 2026: NTA appoints new Joint Secretaries, Directors amid ongoing probe
Guwahati, May 17 -- Amid the ongoing CBI investigation into the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and the Centre's decision to shift the examination to a computer-based format from next year, the government has appointed four senior officers to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
According to orders issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Saturday approved the appointment of two joint secretaries and two joint directors in the NTA as part of efforts to strengthen the agency.
