Dimapur, Aug. 22 -- Nagaland University and Dibrugarh University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand academic, research and institutional collaboration between the two universities, with the agreement signed at Dibrugarh University on August 20, aimed at creating opportunities for academic exchange, joint research and greater interaction among faculty members, researchers and students of both institutions.

Prof. Joy Das, finance officer (in-charge) of Nagaland University, attended the MoU programme. Dibrugarh University was represented by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jiten Hazarika, Registrar Dr Paramananda Sonowal, and Dr Bipasha Chetia, Head of the Department of Commerce, along with other faculty members.
