Dimapur: Nagaland will host an open recruitment rally for the Indian Air Force's Agniveervayu scheme in September, marking first such rally in the state in a decade.

An official statement on Monday said the decision was taken at a meeting convened under the chairmanship of the special secretary (home) in Kohima recently.

Officials from the Home Department and other key departments discussed preparations for the recruitment rally, which is expected to provide an opportunity for youth from Nagaland to join the Indian Air Force.
