Dimapur: Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton on Friday made a clarion call to Naga tribal leaders, civil society organisations and the Naga political groups to unite.

"I specifically urge the Naga political groups to unite and resolve the issue with the Government of India," Patton stated while addressing the Moatsu festival of the Ao Naga community at Chuchuyimlang village in Mokokchung district.

Underscoring the urgency of resolution of the Naga political issue, Patton reminded the public that the current "oppositionless government" is specifically formed to expedite a resolution to the issue.
