Nagaland: Rescued Slow Loris released into the wild in Zunheboto
Dimapur, July 4 -- An endangered Slow Loris was rescued by a resident of Sukhalu village in Zunheboto district on Saturday.
The rescuer, Nihoto K. Yepthomi, handed the animal over to the Zunheboto District Tourism Association for appropriate care.
Following consultation with the authorities, the association released the rescued Slow Loris into its natural habitat at the Sukhai biodiversity conservation area, ensuring the animal's welfare while contributing to ongoing wildlife conservation efforts in the district.
The association lauded Yepthomi and the people of Sukhalu village for their responsible action and commitment to protecting wildlife.
