Dimapur: A total of 402 cases were taken up across Nagaland during the 2nd quarter National Lok Adalat, out of which 220 cases were successfully settled.

According to an official statement issued on Monday, 11 benches were constituted at the district headquarters of various District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs) under the supervision of the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA).

The disposal rate in the National Lok Adalat stood at nearly 54 percent. The cases handled at the pre-litigation stage included bank recovery, loan recovery, and telephone bill related matters, while pending cases involved compoundable criminal offences, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) matters, and other ...
