Nagaland: LabourChowk app launched to connect construction workers with employers
Dimapur, Sept. 2 -- The Nagaland government on Wednesday launched the Nagaland LabourChowk mobile application to streamline employment services and improve access to welfare schemes for building and other construction workers (BOCW) across the state.
Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen launched the application at the Chief Secretary's Conference Hall in Kohima. The initiative has been developed by the Labour Department through the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
The digital platform is aimed at connecting registered construction workers with employers while providing easier access to job opportunities, welfare benefits and skill development programmes.
