Dimapur, Aug. 21 -- Election Commission of India Secretary Binod Kumar on Friday held review meetings on the ongoing SIR of electoral rolls in Nagaland's Dimapur and Chumoukedima districts, asking officials to intensify efforts to improve the mapping percentage and ensure that electoral roll data is accurately updated.

Kumar asked the BLOs to carry out thorough verification and mapping at the grassroots level and coordinate closely with the concerned electoral officials.

He also called for the timely completion of the mapping exercise and greater coordination among DEOs, EROs, AEROs and BLOs to achieve the desired progress.
