Dibrugarh, Oct. 15 -- Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University and the Jyoti Lalita Kanoi Foundation have partnered to identify and support talented athletes from rural and remote areas of Assam.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University Vice-Chancellor Hirendra Nath Sharma and Jyoti Lalita Kanoi Foundation Trustee Jyoti Prasad Kanoi to formalise the partnership.

The initiative is expected to help young people, especially those from rural communities, tea garden areas and remote regions, access training, guidance and opportunities to demonstrate their sporting abilities.
