Aizawl: Mizoram has detected around 370 tuberculosis (TB) cases under the Centre's intensified 100-day TB campaign, with health authorities conducting large-scale screening and preventive interventions across the state.

The campaign, launched on March 24 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is being implemented in all districts, with a focus on villages and wards identified as high-risk areas for TB transmission.

According to the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) under the National Health Mission (NHM), 340 screening camps were organised across Mizoram between March 24 and May 24.

During the period, 25,509 people underwent X-ray screening, leading to the detection of 370 TB patients....
