Aizawl, Nov. 5 -- The Mizoram unit of the BJP on Wednesday took out a march in Aizawl under the theme "Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy", with party leaders calling for the protection of democratic institutions and urging people to support the BJP ahead of the 2028 Assembly elections.

The march began at Zarkawt traffic point and culminated outside Vanapa Hall.

Speaking on the occasion, Mizoram in-charge Bhagwat Karad said that the Centre under Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been giving greater attention to the northeastern states and claimed that Mizoram was receiving particular importance.
