Mizoram Assembly's monsoon session scheduled to start on August 25
Aizwal, Aug. 3 -- The Mizoram Legislative Assembly will convene its monsoon session from August 25, Assembly Speaker Lalbiakzama announced on Sunday.
Lalbiakzama said the Assembly's Business Advisory Committee (BAC), comprising representatives of all legislative parties and chaired by the Speaker, will meet later this week to finalise the duration, agenda and schedule of the session.
The upcoming sitting will be the seventh session of the current Assembly since the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) formed the government under Chief Minister Lalduhoma in December 2023.
