Aizawl, Aug. 14 -- Retired IAS officer K. Lalrinzuali on Thursday took the oath as a member of the Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC), a day after the state government announced a review of its public recruitment system amid calls for reforms in the commission.

Mizoram Governor Vijay Kumar Singh administered the oath to Lalrinzuali at a ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of Lok Bhavan.

Chief Minister Lalduhoma, Speaker Lalbiakzama, Home Minister K. Sapdanga, other ministers, Leader of the Opposition Lalchhandama Ralte and senior government officials were present at the ceremony.
