Aizawl, Aug. 20 -- An impact study committee examining the Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project (KMMTTP) and the Bairabi-Sairang railway link has recommended early preparations to ensure Mizoram derives maximum economic and social benefits from the two major connectivity projects.

The committee submitted its final draft report to Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Wednesday, completing the study in 10 months, two months ahead of the original 12-month timeline, according to official sources.

Lalduhoma thanked the members for completing the exercise ahead of schedule and said the state government would continue to seek their support in implementing the recommendations and addressing related concerns.
