Aizawl: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Friday urged members of the Young Mizo Association (YMA) to partner with the government in building a better society and a peaceful state.

Addressing a YMA conference at Khawzawl in the eastern part of the state, Lalduhoma said the Mizos were fortunate to have an organisation like the YMA, which unites people across communities and works tirelessly for social welfare.

"YMA is a unique organisation that plays an irreplaceable role in safeguarding society and strengthening the state," he said, adding that the organisation is an invaluable asset to Mizoram.
