Guwahati: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Monday described All India Radio (AIR) as a key platform for promoting unity among the Mizo or Zo ethnic communities, saying the broadcaster has long served as a powerful voice connecting people across regions.

Addressing a programme in Aizawl to mark the 90th anniversary of AIR, the Chief Minister said the public broadcaster has remained one of the most influential and trusted institutions in India since its establishment. He noted that AIR's extensive reach benefits not only people across the country but also audiences in neighbouring nations, helping strengthen cultural and social ties among Zo communities.
