Guwahati: Meghalaya is set to hold the North East India Infrastructure Summit and Exhibition (NEIINFRA) on June 11 and 12, bringing together government officials, investors, financial institutions and business leaders to explore opportunities in infrastructure growth, connectivity and regional investment.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma announced the event at a programme in New Delhi and said that the state has seen strong economic expansion in recent years.

He stated that Meghalaya's economy has doubled over the past five years, while capital investment has risen nearly four times since 2018.
