Meghalaya honeymoon murder: Sonam Raghuvanshi surrenders before Shillong court after Supreme Court cancels bail
Guwahati, July 29 -- Sonam Raghuvanshi, one of the accused in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, surrendered before a sessions court in Shillong on Wednesday after the Supreme Court cancelled the bail previously granted to her.
Her appearance before the court followed directions issued by the apex court, which overturned the earlier bail order in the sensational case that has attracted nationwide attention.
Raja Raghuvanshi, a businessman from Indore in Madhya Pradesh, had travelled to Meghalaya with Sonam for their honeymoon shortly after their marriage in May 2025. The couple disappeared during the trip, prompting an extensive search operation.
