Guwahati, Sept. 12 -- Two unidentified individuals allegedly hurled petrol bombs at the Laban police station in Shillong during the early hours of Saturday, September 12, raising security concerns in the area.

Police said the attack took place at around 2.30 am, when unidentified assailants allegedly targeted the police station with two petrol bombs. Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem confirmed the incident.

No police personnel were injured, and no major damage was reported, officials said.
