India, April 3 -- Meghalaya is likely to experience above-normal temperatures and below-normal rainfall during the April-June period this year, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

In its latest seasonal outlook, the weather office stated that both maximum and minimum temperatures across the state are expected to remain higher than usual. However, it clarified that heat wave conditions are not anticipated during this period.
