India, Feb. 28 -- Manipur Youth Congress activists staged a protest at the gate of their office in Imphal on Saturday following the arrest of Indian Youth Congress leaders in Delhi. Police prevented the group from marching after they gathered at the Congress Bhavan gate around 11:30 am.

The protest was held against the recent arrest of Indian Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib and other leaders by Delhi Police. Demonstrators carried placards with slogans opposing the central government. Additional personnel from Manipur Police were deployed at the site, and the rally did not proceed beyond the office gate. No arrests were reported in Imphal.
