Imphal, Aug. 9 -- The Manipur Judicial Academy organised a training programme on "Nyay Shruti", a video-conferencing app developed by the Government of India and backed by Section 530 of the BNSS, 2023, on August 8.

Held at the High Court of Manipur auditorium, the programme was inaugurated by Justice Golmei Gaiphulshillu Kabui and focused on training judicial officers and staff in the use of virtual court tools.

The programme was conducted with the objective of familiarising judicial officers and staff of the District Courts of Manipur with the features, operation and practical application of the Nyay Shruti system in judicial proceedings.
