Imphal, Aug. 19 -- The Manipur government has reshuffled nine IAS officers, with the transfers and postings taking immediate effect, according to notifications issued by the Chief Secretary on Tuesday.

The orders stated that the changes were made in the public interest and would remain in force until further orders.

Under the reshuffle, Mohan Lal Meena, Secretary of the Commission of Inquiry into the Manipur Violence and Manipur Lok Ayukta, has been given the additional charge of Commissioner (Works).
