India, Feb. 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met a three-member delegation from the Manipur government led by Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh at the Prime Minister's Office in New Delhi.
The delegation included Deputy Chief Ministers Nemcha Kipgen of the BJP and Losii Dikho of the Naga People's Front (NPF). Kipgen, who represents Kangpokpi district, is Manipur's first woman Deputy Chief Minister.
According to an official statement issued by the Manipur Chief Minister's Secretariat in Imphal, this was Khemchand Singh's first meeting with the Prime Minister since assuming office on February 4.
