India, Dec. 27 -- The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Manipur Police and Assam Rifles arrested two alleged drug peddlers and smugglers in separate operations, recovering contraband items worth over Rs 40 crores, officials reported on Saturday.

Manipur Police, on Friday, arrested Singamayum Mohammad (28), a resident of Konuma Makha Leikai, Laphupat Tera, Imphal West district, near Sangai Ethnic Park, Moirang Khunou, under Keibul Lamjao Police Station, Bishnupur district.
