Imphal: The Anti-Narcotics Squad of the Manipur Police, in coordination with central security forces, arrested two alleged drug peddlers and seized suspected heroin during a joint operation in Thoubal district, police said on Saturday.

According to the Manipur Police's morning bulletin, the two accused were apprehended from their respective residences during the operation.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Md Sahid Rahman (31), a resident of Lilong Ushoipokpi Tharaorok under Lilong Police Station, from whose possession 45 grams of suspected heroin was recovered, and Md Salauddin alias Imuba (38) of Sangaiyumpham Nungphou Mathak Leikai under Thoubal Police Station, from whom polic...
