Manipur: TNL seeks NIA probe into alleged attacks on Naga civilians
Imphal, Sept. 1 -- The Working Committee of the Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) has accused the governments of Manipur and India of failing to take adequate action against alleged attacks on Naga civilians and has demanded immediate legal action against those responsible.
In a statement, the TNL alleged that Naga communities have faced a series of incidents, including abductions, ambushes, killings and arson between April and August 2026.
The committee alleged that several of the attacks were carried out by Kuki militants, including cadres operating under the Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement. It also blamed alleged illegal migrants for some incidents.
