Imphal, Aug. 3 -- A man was killed, and seven others were injured in a three-vehicle collision on National Highway-102 at Khangabok Sanilou near the 3rd IRB camp in Manipur's Thoubal district late Sunday night.

The accident occurred around 10:20 pm when a Hyundai i20, a Maruti van and a Honda Activa were involved in a head-on collision, according to police. The impact left the vehicles badly damaged and debris scattered across the highway.

The deceased has been identified as Ningthoujam Inaocha Singh (38), a resident of Heirok Part-I. He sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. His body has been shifted to the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) mortuary for post-mortem examination.
