Imphal, Aug. 6 -- A joint team of central and state security forces arrested the self-styled army chief of the proscribed United National Kuki Army-Hmar (UNKA-Hmar) from Churachandpur district and recovered a cache of arms and explosives based on his disclosure, Manipur Police said on Thursday.

The arrested individual was identified as RC Singson, a resident of Old Gelmol village under Churachandpur Police Station. He was apprehended on August 5 during a security operation.
