Imphal, July 22 -- Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Wednesday attended the distribution programme of welfare scheme benefits for beneficiaries, implemented by the Social Welfare Department, Manipur.

The programme, held at the City Convention Centre in Imphal, involved benefits worth Rs 91.66 crore.

The benefits were distributed to nearly 2,40,758 beneficiaries during the programme. The total fund outlay was Rs 91,66,50,772. The beneficiaries received assistance under 17 different schemes of the Social Welfare Department.
