Imphal, Sept. 19 -- Naga and Kuki-Zo legislators of Manipur who are members of the constitutionally mandated Hill Areas Committee (HAC) held a joint meeting on Friday. The meeting was conducted mainly through video conferencing.

HAC Chairman Dinganglung Gangmei said the meeting allowed the participating members to hold a detailed discussion.

In a statement shared on social media, Gangmei, who represents the Nungba assembly constituency, said he was pleased to bring the Hill Areas Committee together after a long gap.
