Imphal: The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has strongly opposed the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in the state, calling it unacceptable under current conditions and raising concerns over fairness, inclusivity, and administrative accountability.

In a statement issued recently, the apex Kuki civil body expressed deep concern over the fate of approximately 59,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the Kuki-Zo community.

The organization noted that these individuals remain displaced from their homes and are currently unable to participate in the critical administrative and electoral revision.
