Imphal: The Kuki Inpi Manipur has strongly condemned what it described as continued acts of violence and aggression by sections of the Tangkhul community in Ukhrul and Kamjong districts against the Kuki-Zo community.

In a statement issued by its Secretariat, the organisation cited the burning of Lanchah Kuki Village in Kamjong district as a serious escalation of tensions, calling for immediate accountability and intervention from authorities.

It also referred to earlier incidents, including the burning of Gampal and Haijang villages, armed attacks on Kuki settlements, and the killing of civilians, alleging a repeated pattern of violence.
