Guwahati: The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has strongly condemned the bombing of Leilon Vaiphei village, allegedly carried out by cadres of the NSCN-IM and its proxy outfit, the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF), on June 15.

In a press statement issued on Monday, KIM described the incident as a serious threat to civilian safety, alleging that the attack endangered innocent lives, damaged property and disrupted peace and security in the area.

The organisation termed attacks on civilian settlements as "unacceptable and inhuman" and expressed concern over the security situation faced by residents of Leilon Vaiphei and neighbouring areas.
