Manipur: Kuki Inpi alleges coordinated attack on two Noney villages, seeks Centre's intervention
Guwahati, July 15 -- The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) on Wednesday alleged that Teikhang and Lenglong villages in Manipur's Noney district came under a coordinated armed attack, resulting in arson and widespread destruction, and urged the Centre to intervene immediately.
In a press statement, KIM claimed the attack took place at around 2 pm and alleged that it was carried out by cadres of the NSCN (Muivah) and ZUF-K. The organisation described the incident as a serious escalation of violence and accused the groups of targeting Kuki-Zo villages.
