Manipur: KNF denies involvement in Langka incident that killed two
Guwahati, Aug. 17 -- The Kuki National Front (KNF) has denied allegations linking its Home Secretary Jangboi Kipgen and its cadres to the recent Langka incident in Manipur's Kangpokpi district, in which two people were killed.
In a statement, the KNF said neither Kipgen nor any of its cadres had any involvement in the incident and described the allegations as "completely baseless, unfounded and devoid of truth".
The outfit alleged that vested interests were attempting to associate its leadership and cadres with the incident to create a "false narrative" and malign the organisation.
