Imphal, Aug. 20 -- Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho on August 20 inaugurated the newly constructed Tribal Market at Mayophung village in Ukhrul district along National Highway 202 (Imphal-Ukhrul road).

The event was organised by the Nashira Area People's Organisation (NAPO), which undertook the construction of the market under the 4th State Finance Commission through the Autonomous District Council (ADC), Ukhrul.

Speaking as the chief guest, Dikho said the Tribal Market would create economic opportunities for local farmers and support their livelihoods.
