Imphal, April 17 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on April 17 embarked on a road journey to Ukhrul district as part of ongoing outreach efforts aimed at strengthening coordination with remote communities and addressing key infrastructure concerns.
Making his first stop at Shangkai village along the Imphal-Ukhrul road, the Chief Minister interacted with local residents. Women from the Kuki community raised concerns over the lack of reliable drinking water and sought urgent intervention. Singh assured them that the issue would be taken up on priority upon his return to Imphal.
