India, Feb. 13 -- Manipur Chief Minister Y. Khemchand on Friday met representatives of the Alternative Learning Systems IAS Coaching and officials from the Department of University & Higher Education, Government of Manipur.
The meeting took place at the Chief Minister's Secretariat. The discussions focused on extending support to deserving IAS aspirants from across the state.
The initiative follows the Union government's decision to open a UPSC Mains examination centre in Imphal from 2026. Officials said the move will make civil services examinations more accessible to candidates from the region.
