Guwahati: Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has alleged that civilians were harassed during a security operation in Leilon Vaiphei and adjoining villages in Kangpokpi district, days after a violent incident in the area left three Kuki-Zo students injured.

In a statement, the apex Kuki body accused Central Security Forces of conducting house-to-house searches, imposing restrictions on movement and subjecting residents, including women, children and elderly persons, to intimidation during the operation.
