Guwahati, Aug. 26 -- The confession of prime accused Abhay Kumar Tiwari before the CID has brought fresh allegations to light in the investigation into irregularities in recruitment examinations in Jharkhand.

Tiwari, who worked as a marketing manager at outsourcing agency TSR Data Processing Private Limited (TDPL), told investigators that almost all general category seats in the 2026 Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) examination were allegedly rigged to favour candidates from other states in exchange for money.

According to his statement, TDPL, which conducted the examination, had allegedly fixed a rate of at least Rs 10 lakh per candidate.
