Guwahati, July 30 -- The historic India-Myanmar Border Haat at Pangsau Pass in Arunachal Pradesh's Changlang district has resumed operations after a gap of six years, reviving cross-border trade between the two countries.

Arunachal Pradesh Trade and Commerce Minister Nyato Dukam formally inaugurated the Border Haat on Thursday.

The inaugural programme was attended by Trade and Commerce Advisor Mohesh Chai, local MLA Laisam Simai, Trade and Commerce Secretary Bullo Mamung, Director Toko Togur, Additional Deputy Commissioner Lekhandu Thungon, officials and local stakeholders.

Located at Nampong in Changlang district, the Pangsau Pass Border Haat reopened on July 20 after remaining closed for six years.
