Guwahati, Sept. 7 -- The Indian and Chinese armies reviewed the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh's Kibithoo region, days after the two countries held Special Representative-level talks on the long-pending boundary dispute.

The corps commander-level meeting was held at the Wacha-Damai border meeting point, with discussions focused on maintaining peace and tranquillity along the frontier, people familiar with the matter said.

The Indian delegation was led by Lt. General Girish Kalia, commander of the Army's Dimapur-based 3 Corps. There was no official statement on the meeting from either side.
