Guwahati, Sept. 2 -- Harrd Disk, a 1-hour-25-minute mystery psychological thriller released on 21 August 2026, comes with an unusually strong Assam connection behind the camera and in its supporting cast. Directed by Udoyrraj Baruah, the film features Pragyan Gogoi as sound designer, Tapanjyoti Dutta as musician and Siddhartha Mukherjee in a supporting role.

With a substantial portion of its creative team associated with Assam, the film initially appears to be an interesting example of regional talent finding space within a wider Hindi/Bollywood production.
