Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Thursday said four suspected persons linked to the abduction of six Naga civilians had been arrested as security forces continued search and combing operations to trace the hostages.

Speaking to reporters during a visit to Makhan Naga village in Kangpokpi district, the Chief Minister said investigations were underway to identify and apprehend others allegedly involved in the incident.

Singh visited a relief camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) at Makhan Baptist Church, where around 35 people, including women and children from Konsakhul village, are currently taking shelter.
