Guwahati: The inaugural edition of Exercise PRAGATI 2026 is currently underway at Umroi in Meghalaya, where it has moved into a high-intensity operational phase since its commencement on May 20. The drill has brought together over 400 military personnel representing 12 partner nations.

The exercise is designed to deepen regional security cooperation, enhance interoperability and promote coordinated response capabilities through combined training and professional interaction among participating armed forces.
