North Lakhimpur: A man from Arunachal Pradesh has been arrested in connection with the suicide of a youth from Assam's Lakhimpur district.

The accused, identified as Rohit Sharma, was apprehended from Nirjuli by Lakhimpur Police. He is the employer of the deceased, Bipul Saikia, a resident of Laluk.

According to police and family members, Saikia allegedly died by suicide about a month ago after facing mental and physical harassment at his workplace in Nirjuli, where he had been accused of theft.
