Guwahati, May 12 -- Phase three of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, which was briefly postponed due to assembly elections in Kerala, Assam, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal last month, is scheduled to be implemented by the Election Commission in the upcoming days.
The nationwide voter list verification drive, which had been put on hold due to Assembly elections in Kerala, Assam, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal is set to move forward as the electoral process in these states and Union Territories concluded last month, the Election Commission said.
