DK Shivakumar set to take oath as Karnataka Chief Minister on June 3

Guwahati: Karnataka is set for a change in leadership as Congress leader DK Shivakumar is expected to be sworn in as Chief Minister on June 3 at 4:05 PM at Lok Bhavan in Bengaluru, following his unanimous election as Leader of the Congress Legislature Party.
The decision was taken after the Congress Legislature Party, comprising 135 MLAs along with supporting members, backed his leadership for forming the new government.
Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has extended the invitation to Shivakumar to take oath and form the government, with the ceremony also expected to include the swearing-in of his Council of Ministers.
