Imphal: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director General Gyanendra Pratap Singh met Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla during his three-day visit to the state and discussed the force's roadmap to tackle insurgency and strengthen security measures amid continuing violence.

Singh reviewed the prevailing security situation and ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the state. According to a CRPF post on social media, discussions focused on enhancing operational preparedness, strategic planning and the force's plans to address insurgency in Manipur.
